Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. (Ephesians 3:20-21)

Our Desire

Various prayer activities at Southern Gables represent opportunities to seek God's face, draw near to the Lord, intercede for others, uphold this congregation at Southern Gables and beyond, and help others come into the presence of God.

• We desire for Southern Gables -- as a church -- to become a house of prayer, and not just to have scattered prayer ministries or a small group called The House of Prayer.
• We desire that prayer would truly under gird everything that goes on at Southern Gables, permeating the entire life of this Body, as well as our lives as individual Christ followers.
• We desire that all people -- from young to old and at any level of spiritual maturity -- will increasingly hunger to come into God's presence and see Him glorified as He works powerfully in our midst.

Our Personal Prayer Life

We each need to be daily in prayer and to be growing in our prayer life. Southern Gables has developed a guide to assist the congregation in a month of prayer for the people and ministries of our church. The guide is presented here for your daily use and as a resource in deepening your prayer life. A key element of the guide is the Today's Prayers section that focuses on specific prayer needs of our congregation and that changes daily.
