Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise-the fruit of lips that confess his name. And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. (Hebrews 13:15-16)

Father, may we bring you a continuous sacrifice of praise from our lips. We praise you for giving Jesus as a sacrifice for our sins. We bring you honor and praise for choosing us as your children. Help us seek to do good and share with others how Jesus brought you glory through his sacrifice to pay for our sins. We thank you and praise you Lord.

FOCUS: Praise

• Thank God for rescuing us from the dominion of darkness and bringing us into his kingdom through Jesus, the kingdom of light. Thank God that Jesus is the inheritance of all the saints, everyone who believes. (Colossians 1:12-13)
• Thank God for giving us a new righteousness through our faith in Jesus Christ. Thank God for justifying us by faith alone through his grace and redemption through Christ Jesus. (Romans 3:21-24)
• Thank God for the love he poured into our hearts that reassures us of our right standing before him and his depth of love for us. Thank him too, for giving us the Holy Spirit who is God in us revealing this love to us. (Romans 5:5)
• Praise and thank God for his promise that we will reign in life through Christ Jesus. Praise God that this does not depend on us, but upon him. Thank God also for his abundant provision of grace. (Romans 5:17)
• Praise God for making us a new creation. Praise Him for helping us to accept this as a fact by faith so that we will experience the truth of it in our daily lives. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
